Apple Fritter Sticks

3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a thick batter forms.
4. Fold in the diced apples gently.
5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
6. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, shaping them into small sticks.
7. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
9. Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
